To schedule your first appointment, please call us at (256) 822-2909, or use the contact form on the contact us page. Be prepared to briefly explain the reason you are scheduling and provide insurance information. This is a good time to ask questions you may have.

We often use toys, games, coloring, etc. in sessions with young children; however, currently, we do not have any providers that are Registered Play Therapists.
  • What if I can’t make a scheduled session?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, that’s no problem! We understand that schedules change and life happens. We just ask that our clients call our office or contact your therapist via email at least 24 hours before the scheduled session time so that we have time to offer the session to another client on the waiting list. Unfortunately, multiple no shows or last minute cancellations may result in you being discharged from our services.
  • How often should I make an appointment?
How often you attend therapy is ultimately up to you. Some people find they need weekly support. Others attend less frequently or only when they feel they need extra support during difficult times. Therapy sessions are typically scheduled for 60 minutes depending on the individual situation or need.
  • What happens if I want to change therapists?
We believe it is very important that you connect with your therapist. We understand that we won’t be the right therapists for everyone. If for some reason you or your therapist decide it isn’t a good fit, we will be happy to provide names of other therapists you might consider.
